Saucy Sunday’s: Country Bama White BBQ Pulled Beef Sliders
I couldn't wait to use this sauce once perfected. A white barbecue sauce has become an Alabama specialty. As you know, I'm very committed to celebrating my roots so I thought I'd try my take on a tangy cheesy white barbecue sauce recipe. Honey, let me just say - it isn't for the weak but boy does it make my taste buds happy!
I had some steak tips in the freezer and thought it would be the perfect protein match. I marinated the beef in Worcestershire and a little soy sauce and garlic. Then, seasoned the beef with steak seasoning along with a healthy pinch of crushed peppercorns. Heat a skillet with some butter and garlic and sear each side of the tips on medium-high heat. Once browned, I turned the heat down, covered the skillet, and let it slow cook the rest of the way. When it reached medium well, I took the steak off the heat and started to pull it. Put a decent serving on a buttered Hawaiian slider bun with a drizzle of this tangy white sauce and *chef's kiss!*
Tastes like a Southern delicacy!
