What’s the 411 with ChocoLit? 

 

Shipping rate: 

Our products are handmade by order, and require 5-7 business days processing time. Some orders that are relatively small may take less than 5 business days to process. We are proud to offer a flat rate shipping for all orders. Shipping (via USPS) may take anywhere from 7-10 business days (including Saturday's) to ship depending on your location due to delayed common carrier processes. Orders are processed based on the transaction date they are received. We are notified by the USPS Postal Service that they are experiencing higher delays. Please accept our sincere apology for the delay we are experiencing with shipping orders in a consistent manner during this time. As a small business, we thank you for your patience during this time and encourage you to use our contact form for inquiries.  

Hours of Operation:

ChocoLit Sauces operates weekdays from 9a-6pm. If you submit an order after 6pm, processing time will start the next business day. Weekends are not included in the processing timeline indicated above. All orders will receive an email confirmation of purchase once an order is submitted through the website or email. What You Really Want to Know: 👀

“What’s up with the different textures?”

Our sauces aren’t made with any pectin or other thickeners. Therefore, the textures may vary from time to time. Please remember to keep sauce in refrigerator to stay fresh and thick. Warm up to thin out before using if you prefer. 

“What happened to the glass jars the sauces used to come in?”

Unfortunately, the Covid pandemic had resulted in a shortage of canning jars in the sizes we used to package your orders. Therefore, in order to maintain a decent processing and shipping timeline, we have resorted to using plastic squeeze and sauce bottles. We hope that these new bottles allow you an easier way of dispensing and storing your sauces.

“Does ChocoLit accept returns?”

Unfortunately, we can’t accept returns but we are committed to making things right. Shoot us an email!

“Anything on the menu vegan?”

Yes! We’d love to accommodate those with food sensitivities if we can. Please select the vegan option when ordering your sauces (where applicable). Or shoot us an email with any questions and let’s see what we can cook up!  

“What’s the shelf life for the sauces?”

Great question! Our Hot Honey & Soy Sauce can last 6-9 months. Our other sauces are best used within 3 months of purchase. Keep them all in the fridge after opening for best flavor and shelf life.
